Try to pull the codes yourself and post them here. 1792 does not exist in any of my source material. Maybe they wrote it down incorrectly.... do what we call 'the key dance': put the key in the ignition and turn it to on without starting the engine. Then within 5 seconds go to off - on - off - on - off - on. You should then see the codes show up in the odometer area... For some people it works in P, some have to put the car in N. I usually do it with all accessories turned off (such as heater/A-C, radio, lights, etc).
While my first gut feeling would be cam position and crank position sensor, followed by the input/output sensor, followed by solenoid pack, followed by god only knows what.., verifying the actual codes the car is throwing out will make the trouble shooting a bit more certain (and potentially cheaper) and eliminates doubts about whether 1792 was indeed displayed...
