Got a radar detector yesterday and installed it, works great and scared the shit out of me the first time it went off.

Sadly it is an auxiliary plug-in. I hid the wire through the dash and up to the upper left of the windshield through the fuse entrance.

I would just hardwire that. The kits are sold on ebay and cost $9.

I would, but it's so cheap that I don't think it is worth it. If it were one of those $250 ones definitely but I don't think this $40 one is worth it.
