3.5 vacuum leak help needed

I had a bad idle and had never changed the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets on my 1995 3.5. I took it a part and the lower gasket was like dust. Put it all back together and it still idles rough and vibrates as you accelerate. I used Felpro gaskets and followed the info in the factory workshop manual. It still does not run right. I used some carb cleaner to try and locate where it is leaking. Still can't figure it out. Any tricks or suggestions???
Thanks.

did you properly clean all the surfaces the new gaskets would sit on before you put evrything back together? sometimes peices will stick to the surfaces when you take everything apart

Other than the above post, I'd make sure the air filter is clean (it can be dirty, just not BLACK).

You could also have bad plugs, wires, or even dirty posts on the coil. May have old fuel, bad O2 sensors, or fuel injector problems... but we'll start easy.

In addition to looking at your air filter, also do the 'Key Dance' and see if you have any stored codes.

I thought I had everything spotless before reassembly. The air filter is new and so are the plugs. I double checked the firing order. I also double checked the timing belt timing. All dots line up perfectly. No codes.

did you double check all vac lines? Maybe dirty IAC? What type of plugs did you install? You should put in Champion Copper plus.

Are you smelling any fuel oder around the motor?

When you replaced the lower intake gaskets did you also replace the fuel injector o-rings?

No fuel smell. I have double checked all vacuum lines.I think the plugs are Autolite Plats.(low miles) It's not misfiring. It just idles rough and does not smooth out until above 3000 rpms. IAC is clean. I am leaning towards taking it a part again.
