Sad Does Computer Reset itself if battery is disconnected?

Hey, Me again. My vision still doesnt run, so today I disconnected the battery
for about 15 minutes. Car started for about 5 seconds, then just cranks. So
I disconnected battery again for 15 or 20 minutes and it started ,ran for about 5 seconds and quit. just cranks. When I turn Key on I hear fuel pump
run for about 2-3 seconds. Replaced camshaft position sensor, crankshaft

disconnecting the battery clears any stored fault codes. Those codes that you keep erasing could provide a clue to your trouble. When you have problems do not disconnect battery until after you do the "key dance" to retrieve the codes. Which engine do you have ?

95 Eagle Vision ESI 3.3 wont start. HELP!!!

In reply to jedgxe, a couple weeks ago I when this all started before I knew about the key dance thing, I cleaned my battery posts and cables and I guess I lost my codes then. And then yesterday I got a new battery.
So I guess Im screwed as far as codes go. Is there anymore info you might be able to help me out with? Thanks

do the key dance again, dont dissconnect the battery, try to start it if it dont start then do the key dance, and get a peace of paper and a pin and wright down how many times it flashes. If there is no codes it should flash 1 long pause 5 short pause 5 no more flashing. There will be a long pause inbetween each number. Good luck!

yes 12 is the battery has been dissconnected in the last 50 starts, and 55 is the end of the message, have you tryed starting it again? if you say it just starts for a second and then dies, try starting it and giving it some gas.. Make sure it's getting air check the intake tubes, check the spark aswell... then i'd go start checkin for gas lines and stuff dont know much about them tough.. good luck!
