Exhaust Idea

I am planning on removing the "mopar muffler box" off my 1996 3.3L. Just subbing in a cherry bomb glass pack under the car. This seems to be the best way to get some rumble for my buck....anyone else got ideas to get some deeper sound.

Nope. Thats the easiest, and cheapest way to get some good sound (and maybe a wee bit of performance) out of your exhaust system.

Does anyone know what RAREWOLF did to his exhaust? It's in the pictures section to hear. Is that just the muffler removed? IN addition, my intake goes on in spring - just lake ATFCHARGERS - my trep will be ready for the HWY come the warm weather!

i think he took off the muffler and replaced it with an open pipe, and left on the resonator. I might be wrong, but i think thats what he did.

the 3.5 has two muffling devices, a muffler under the seats and the rear resonator. what rarewolf and a few other 3.5s have done is remove the muffler and leave the resonator. the 3.3 can't do this because it has no resonator. however you can just take off the muffler as pimped3point3 has done.
