overheated.....now wont start?

ok, my 1998 intrepid es overheated earlier, and died...it has overheated once before, but i didnt even notice it this time..... now it will turn over but not fire at all...... any ideas?

wow that's got me stumped
only thing I can think of is maybe something wrong in the cylinder head like a burt vavle or maybe the head is warped bad enough, itself

Do you do your own work, or do you have a mechanic?

BTW I'm not saying the head is the place to start looking
just the only thing I can think of right now

Water pump may have seized up taking out the timing belt. That could be the reason it overheated in the past because the pump was on it's way out.
