Coil Over Plugs Spark Plug Replacement

Hi All...My Question is : how to get those long coil over boots off the spark plug ...Without harming/streching the boots.....I am used to "convential" spark plug wires and i have speciality boot removal tools(for say 91 mazda) to make the job a success ...am used to twist and pull and the "clicks" of convential spark boot maintence....(but,my 99' Intrepid alas ,well i wanna change the plugs without "destroying the coil overs)

how does one seat an 8" coil over boot and be assured the proper connection is made when you are 8" away from the tip of the plug???

Garage
When you remove the coils the boots will come out with them. There is a spring inside the boot that provides the connection. It compresses onto the spark plug when you install the coil. You wont hear an actual "click", but the spring will compress onto the plug about an inch.

Just pull up and give it a slight twist and it will come right off. There's no big science to it, no special tools needed.
