Bleeder/Pressure relief valve?

What is the valve that is located at the front of the intake manifold on a 3.2? Has what looks like a quick-disconnect on top that you could attach a hose to bleed off air from the coolant system. 2001 Intrepid

The one on my car has come apart around the top. I haven't taken it off yet but what is the part that I'm looking for, and are they available separate or are they a part of the intake?

It is the coolant bleeder valve.

What do you mean by come apart? If you have a 3.2, that bleeder screws directly into the metal intake manifold-- or did it strip out in the intake?

On the 2.7 engines they were mounted in a housing that had common issues of coming apart....which would be the water outlet housing...if this is the case (square black plastic housing with bleeder valve on top) you will need to replace the outlet housing.
