Camshaft position sensor replacement

On a 3.2 does the upper intake manifold have to be removed to replace the camshaft sensor?

Hey guys, sorry to nercro post, but I'm about to replace my cam sensor, and had a quick question about the replacement.

I ordered this sensor from the dealer (had to wait, wasn't in stock).

Anyhow, I noticed in the service manual that upon installing the new cam sensor, there's supposed to be a paper spacer on the new sensor. Does anyone know if this spacer is included with the new sensors? If not, where can I obtain it? Thanks.

It will already be on the sensor and after the sensor is installed it will get knocked off during the first startling.

If the paper is missing, you can use a piece of tape.
