The 300M badging is because my GF loves 300Ms, and since I have mixed an intrepid with a 300M I let her put these emblems on the car. I think they look good and she helped a lot so she can put her touches on it. BTW I know of a 300M nearby forsale fro around 1000$ with a blown engine. I have an extra 3.5 that may or may not be good also. A great motor for stroking and building. I know it had no shavings or water in oil, not locked up, worst case scenario it jumped time and some head work may need done. The 300 that isn't running just had the water pump replaced on it. I really should look at it, could be that guys mechanic is playing games with him.

I used turtle wax headlight cleaner kit from O'reillys. It only cost 6.99, compared to mcGuires kit at 29.99. This stuff really works. Some friends of mine in a paint shop just used 1500 grit sand paper then clearcoat with a drop of color in it for colored headlights. I have used a buffing wheel with diamond cut buffing compound before also to get good results. This turtle wax kit is great for anyone that doesn't have many tools or a shop. Just like painting something you start with a heavier grit to get the stuff flattened down, then go finer , crossing each time, then use a fine buffing compound then the sealer. You can see the differance from these pics.turtle wax headlight cleaner 001.jpg

I also switched the door wiring harness so I could use the other speakers from the 300. I fixed both windows in the front doors with JB weld and had them clamped overnight, went to put it back together, and now the mirror wiring plug is differant. Man this is something else, every time I think I'm done something new comes up. I tried to take the intrepid mirror apart to switch the guts and found that it just doesn't come apart. The 300 mirrors have 8 wires running to them plus 2 for the heated mirror feature. The intrepid mirror is power also but it has only 3 wires. I am switching the door locks out with the sentry key locks that have the wire on the back of them. That was surprisingly easy since I had to fix the windows anyway.

I don't really have the LH bug, They are interesting though and I like that the whole line interchanges a lot of parts. I've always been a mopar guy though. I do have an extra 3.5 that really could be built up and an extra tranny as well. The thing is though even if I don't like what I'm doing I do it the best I can. I couldn't put this thing back together without adding them speakers lol. Now I have to go to pull a part to get the 300 mirrors or chrysler mirrors that will plug in. If this were all happening at a better time you can bet there would be a hood scoop , rear spoiler, better exhaust, and a two or three tone paint job with probably some vintage dodge racing green involved and a nitrous fogger kit. But I do actually like doing this stuff especially since it mopar and it is pretty quick. I really need to get back to riding my Team suzuki FMF GNCC race bike to get the adrenaline fix if I have a car like this or else get a lot of speeding and wreckless op tickets. I try to not have fast cars usually.
