300M Heated Seats & Mirrors

Does anyone have a list of the pin-outs for the connectors on the Memory Heated Seat and Mirror Module (MHSMM) and the memory/Heated/signal mirrors?

Before I get all of the parts, I need a basic understanding of the wires and connections I'll need.

From my understanding, simply connecting the YL/VT wire will enable the memory seat to also remember the radio settings, as well as possibly tie in the corresponding keyless entry fob as well. However, I need to know which wires will be necessary to attempt to hook up the mirrors. I took a look under the seat of a 2002 300M Special at the Chrysler Dealership, and the connector is quite possibly a 20-way connector. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to count and list the colors of the wires.

P.S. Has anyone converted a manual seat to a power seat? I don't think it will be particularly difficult.

No it's not too bad, just alot of wires to run to the mirror and you have to have the heated/memory mirrors. There's a thread where Randy (Intrepi99) puts in his 300M seats and I list a bunch of pinouts, I did a search but I guess I'm using the wrong key words.

here's the info that you posted earlier YB

The wires below go from the drivers seat.
dark blue wire with white stripe goes to an ignition RUN-START with 10A fuse.
black wire is ground
violet with yellow stripe goes to the BCM connector C4 cavity 9
red 16 guage wire to battery + with 20A fuse
The wires from the passenger seat (7 wires) go into the drivers seat. So you'ld take the seven wires and connect them to 7 of the driver's seat's 22 wires with the matching color and stripe.
The heated seats are controlled by the memory heated seat/mirror module (located under the driver's seat) with direction from the BCM.

From a 99 service manual, here is the heated seat switch pin call-out:

pin 1 = LO LED
pin 2 = OPEN
pin 3 = ground
pin 4 = ignition feed
pin 5 = HI LED
pin 6 = request line

heated seat switch continuity

continuity between 4 and 6 / switch position = off / reading =2200ohms

continuity between 4 and 6 / switch position = LO / reading =415ohms

continuity between 4 and 6 / switch position = HI / reading =33ohms

Thanks, guys. When I finally find the seats, I want to try to grab as much of the original wiring as possible, but I wanted to know which wires I may already have, and which ones I don't. It appears my BCM will control the MHSMM, since the YL/VT wire earmarked for the MHSMM is there. I'll just have to lift up the carpeting and follow all of the wires. I think many of the wires I'll need are already there. I'll just need to grab the connectors and a shitload of spare wires.

Also, if the 300M has Heated Memory seats, does that mean it automatically has the tilt-down feature built into the mirrors? And, are the mirrors necessarily heated as well? If the mirrors are folding or memory/heated, I'll probably grab them as well. Although I really want the mirrors from a 300M Special. Hell, we'll see what I finally do...

No, they won't necessarily have tilt down function but the split folding are heated. The only wires you are likely to have are the main power and ground wires for the seat movement. The rest you'll have to run.
You might want to check out the pics of the actual wiring needed in this thread.
