thanks, just ordered the 5400's with upgraded wiring kit (wire directly to battery). 319.99, but better than waiting on some ebay auction and ebay problems.

I have HID 5400's for the low beams (projectors) and fogs on the Probe, really like the look. I use Silvania (blue tints) for the highs in projector lenses, so I can have the blue when I want to.

I noticed there is a HID high/low beam option for these kits; anyone who sees them, I advise against it (question I asked before buying the Probe lights). You don't want to be turning HIDs on and off real often (like you do with high beams). You want to turn them on, allow to warm up, run for awhile, allow adequate cooldown.

Regardless, your low beam HIDs are bright as heck anyway, I could easily drive with just the fog lights on at night, brighter than my old setup with projector highs.

When I flip the highs on, I can barely notice the difference there is no extra light at all basically. Only a little blue tint. Just lows should be good for everyone.

The only way you would want to run high beam hid's is with a bi-zenon projector, and then you are not exactly running high beams. Bi-zenon projectors move the cut off shield and allow you to use the whole beam, which would definately brighten up a dark road. And it would blind any oncoming drivers for sure, LOL. THe only time I get flased by other drivers is if I hit a bump and they get a taste of what it looks like to stare into the HID's below the cut off shield.

Nick I would gladly help you. It shouldn't be a big issue as long as you have something that attaches to that weird little adjusting post on the one headlight.

Beautiful setup. Love the shot of your Intrepid over the desert.

Side note: Unless I simply missed it in the thread, where did you order your HIDs? It sounds like they went in without issue and, after browsing several online retailers, was a little leery so I thought I'd find out where you got yours, first.

Thanks.

Sorry to bust up in your thread, but HIDynamics.com is about 50$ cheaper.
