i was looking at the 225/60/17's for the lhs for a little taller sidewall for a little smoother ride in the lhs. not that it's that bad anyways. better than my old 95 trep with it's 16's.
was thinking even a 65 series, but after careful measuring after looking up diameters, i don't think they would clear the bottom of the spring on the strut. about 1.5" larger diameter, which would be 3/4" taller/side. be lucky if there's that much clearance there. looks maybe just 5/8-3/4 there with the 225/55/17's. but the 60's should squeak in easily.

It was determined that I need new front brake pads on the Ricer when they were fixing a flat and changing a TPMS sensor on a 2nd wheel. Got a set of Wagner Thermoquiets on order with AAP and will pick them up tomorrow. Ceramics FTW!

I'll have new front strut bearings/seats in hand tomorrow. That'll complete my inventory to put the Ricer back to stock ride height and get rid of the shitbox Eibach lowering springs. Can't wait!

I'll be using the Monroe Quickstuts I've had new in box in storage for over a year. Swapping out the strut mounts/bearings for OEM parts on the front and swapping out the springs to the original R/T ones I got from Tom when I bought the car. On the rears, I'll just swap out the springs to the original R/T ones. Should be a sweet riding car again after that.

And not shipping any of this heavy shit to Canada. That is unless you want to pay like $125 or more to have it shipped. And even then you'd have to persuade me to actually do it!

New Wagner ThermoQuiet Ceramic brake pads go on the front of the Ricer tomorrow. The pads on there now have been on there for over 5 years since I bought the car. Organics....but I only put like 10k miles on the car since I've owned it. The drilled/slotted rotors tear up brake pads. The Wagners have been working well on Special so I'm confident they'll be fine on this car even though the Special has solid rotors.

Contemplated buying the AAP Wearever Platinum Ceramics but they were only $10 cheaper and don't really trust their brake pads. That might just be me and what I've heard about their cheaper crap and other parts.

Hidden Hitch FTW Bitches! Got mine in for the Magnum today. Good stuff.

My version of the Big Black Thing but it'll be hidden under the rear bumper/valance!
