I have to wait until summer to get my perfect shot :( . I want it to be with an ANGRY sky in the background, with the wheels at a certain angle, the head+fog lights on, etc.

2) For being in Ontario, not the best thing to do is post a video on youtube since there have been 'articles' in the paper of people getting busted for street racing by finding their videos (at least cut it to 150km/h).

3) Who ever says take it to the track is right, but being where you are I don't think there are any.

4) To everyone: If you want something quick, go buy something quick. Do not waste your time on these cars for speed and acceleration. The main purpose of these are for transporting a midsize family. They are nice cars, but the only races you're going to win these days are against economy cars.

Just an FYI, a Nissan GTR will pull harder than your car in top gear from 80 to 100 mph than you could full throttle.

But don't buy a GTR, anything that will do a mid 13 second in the 1/4 mile is more than enough for most people. Plus stick is a lot of fun. Insurance rates up there can't be as bad as Toronto....

Yeah but I has no shiney paint like yours. I will say at least My eagle sounds like she is going fast though. Lots of noise but not much speed in relation! Perhaps can be solved one day if I ever build that Can Am Street 3.3

Eagle you're ride looks awesome....I worked on a little ol' mans 93' Eagle Vision....same color...stock everything tho....His had under 50000 miles on it and he had bumped into his garage and dented the bumper cover....we fixed and repainted it and I just couldn't help but fall in love with it.....yours looks exactly like his....perfect....although your wheels r much better! lol....if the paints not shiny, maybe its time to sand off the clear and go SUEDE!!! Or Flat clear! That would make it more Storm-Trooper looking!

In all the years and 200K miles paint was not that big of a deal. The rims were the biggest look factor I ever did to it. Purely functional. What the clearcoat lacks the Suspension makes up for.

Unfortunately, not all of us have $110k in the bank for a GT-R, hence why we all drive 10 year old American/Canadian built vehicles that retailed for 18% of the price of a GT-R. Sat in one, drove it around the lot, real nice car, but not for me. Plus it isn't a Mopar man!

As far as all this Hemi nonsense goes, let me put it into perspective, I lived at a local dragstrip all summer pretty much. When we weren't watching the big boys play, people would be putting their cars in on time trial's.

In short, these amazing untouchable modern Hemi's are not what they are cracked up to be (I thought exactly like you). 6.1 and 6.4 Hemi LX's were only pulling 15-16 seconds on the 1/4 mile. Last time I checked, LH's were pulling about the same, or better with some minor and INEXPENSIVE tweaks compared to what a Hemi normally gets.

Let's stop down playing the platform we're all here for and love. Fact is these cars, even for the age of ten years old or better, will STILL to this date spank the vast majority of vehicles on the roads. Want to start talking forced air-induction, higher end vehicles like Mustangs and Camaro, well, I don't think we stand much of a chance without putting some large cash under the hood.

Highlight of my summer? My buddies $5K SRT4 Neon, stock, DESTROYED a $80K Supercharged Shebly Super Snake or whatever the hell it's called Mustang. Classic. The. Look. On. The. Owners. FACE!

I'm not down playing the LH platform at all, I love it more than the LX for a few reasons. But the srt-8 is stupid fast for a luxury sedan.

here is a limiter pull on the 5.7 luxury sedan

Anyway love the LH for it's design, handling, reliability, room, style, comfort, power, and economy. I don't ever want to part with my 97 intrepid.

Post all the video's and specs you've pulled from else where guys, fact is those times I said the Hemi's were getting are accurate times for my local track. Hence why I'm saying, based on in-person results I've seen the new modern hemi's don't exactly impress me as much as I figured they would. I assumed they'd get 12-13 maybe. I'm not saying they are slow, garbage, my trep can smoke'em, just saying If they all run those times, our LH's with a gear swap and 3.5 can easily keep up.

I need to find the video's, I recorded every Mopar that went down that track, a few of those $500K vehicles too.

There was a 2011 SRT-8 Challenger there 392 glorified badging, the guy just bought it. He could only get 15-16 out of it. Last day two guys showed up with SRT8's, one a black Charger (06-07), he scores 15-16, than a Magnum, not sure on year, but an SRT8 as well, he got 15-16. They all ran at least twice, the Challenger, he went twelve times that day.

Either the track's traction blows, these guys all ironically are scared to hold some rev's or not all the times we're seeing around are "factory" tunes. Hard to say, but as I said, my expectations were blown those two days... I cheer'd on the Road Runner and Dart Swinger while they gobbled up Stang's mind you.

I guarantee a Magnum SRT-8 will smoke a 300m Special. I know as I have one of each along with an Intrepid R/T that the Magnum will leave in the dust. No special talent to do it either.

15-16 is a pretty big range there, although I will agree that not all LX cars are 13 second cars, a 15 flat is the bare minimum a hemi could run the 1/4 mile in (I know I raced one). Now the V6 versions will not do any damage and run from a low 15 to a mid 16.

Considering the last time I went there was an LX meet at the drag strip and these suckers were running nothing over 14 seconds, while I was the redhead stepchild running a 16.2 beating the one and only V6 challenger. Also a drag pack SRT-10 decided to show up and run into the 10's i believe, which was bested by some stupendous GT-R.

Sigh... I'm finished here. You're clearly taking little time to realize what I'm saying, disregarding factual information I'm providing based on eye-witness accounts and just countering with smart ass conduct and troll pictures.

Did the bold areas clarify?

It's common knowledge our LH's pull 15-16's of all ranges that I have seen posted here and elsewhere. When I seen the local SRT's with all the offered engine sizes pulling the best of mid 15's, I was HORRIBLY disappointed. Everything else was higher, the worst being a lowish 16.

All I'm saying, and have been saying is if that's the best case scenario, I'm not impressed. Comparing the basic data I've seen of our LH's do, well it should be a pretty nice healthy competition.

Like I said, hard to say if it was the drivers holding back, car's not running right, traction on the track being piss-poor, the region just having lower oxygen to air rations, who knows.

But with everything I've said and continue to say - oh well apparently just trolling! HEMI SUCK MY 3.5 BETTER! I gobble up Lamborghini's in reverse and smoke everything at La mans in gear two I guess.

Moving on.
