That 2002 VW Passat W8 is looking pretty sweet also. I think it has 270hp or 275hp.

Kind of funny. My perception of VW is of the old putt, puttin bug and the ugly ass Karmen Ghia, the nasty looking kleenex box vanagon & even the "thing". NOT the sleek looking W12. Whew! what a boss looking ride. I wonder how much it's going to cost!!

honeslty doesnt surpirse me i mean they do own bugatti or a t least used to and the bugatti veryon 16/4 is the sweetest car on the planet literally http://www.carpassion.com/en/bugatti.../veyron164.php

I think it is a nice car. But I can't figure out why VW is trying to put out a car to compete with its own Audi division. This doesn't make sense to me. Most VW owners are not into a luxury car.

Viperman, It's probably because like everyone else in the industry the more market saturation you get the better the chance of capturing more of it. Look at the duplicates in every auto manufacturing co. DC, GM, Toyoto, Nissan, VW on & on & on.......
