I claybar'd the steel dust and then waxed my slowtege on sunday at my parents house and my sister took some pictures I guess. So this is it.
The car has 144560kms on it. It has a 1.8L DOHC 5spd Makes 122hp stock...bla bla bla
It is my daily driver so I've only done minor things like the AWR full poly engine mount kit, cheap ebay intake (that I had to hammer on to clear the master cylinder) and got new emblems for the trunklid as the old ones were corroded. I recently added 16 inch rota slipstreams (spoon knock off) they weigh about 13lbs a rim and I have 205/45/16 General Exclaim UHPs mounted on them. For a cheap tire they are PHENOMENAL. Next for the Slowtege is a set of TEIN SS coilovers. After that? I've been toying with the idea of an Eaton M45 supercharger...
Yeah, I tore the motor out, replaced the rings and honed the cylinders. When it went back togeather I got some GT40P heads (fully ported to exceed Edelbrock performer RPM heads) a victor JR. intake, ford racing stainless shorty headers (along with a full 2.5inch exhaust with no cats and flowmaster 40s) and I put the cam back in it that the car came with (comp cam 270h) and put my quick fuel holley 600 on. I sold the 4 bolt 16inch wheels and tires off the car because I have 17inch bullits off a 04 mustang I just haven't got the time do gather parts for a 5 bolt swap right now. I'm not going to mickey mouse the 5bolt swap either. Full cobra brakes all the way around (13inch rotors and dual piston calipers) SN95 spindles etc. To do the 5bolt swap I also need new front struts so I'm going to do the suspension at the same time.
The car is pretty much on hold for the time being. The transmission in my 03 Crown vic died so I'm in the middle of a 5spd swap (t45, king cobra clutch, tri-ax shifter) After the swap my vic is getting dyno tuned and chipped as well as a Marauder airbox and mass airflow sensor...maybe some magnaflow muffers too.
