hey guys im trying to put my system together and ive come to a few conclusions 1. i need to much trunk space for other things so my 15s arent gonna jive because i cant get a box small enough for my 15s that will slide all the way back in the truck due to a metal box or peice that hangs down in the back of the trunk (can i some how remove this?) 2. well i would like to go with 2 or maybe even 3 12s most likley kicker comp vrs i was gonna go with some L7s but to spendy for me. 3. now this is the part i need help with, my jl audio 15s need 2 cubic feet to work in a sealed box what kind of dimentions am i looking at for the cubic feet needed for these subs inch by inch, if its small enough i will go with the 15s but if not im gonna have to go with 12s. Thanks guys any and all opinions are going to be very helpfull.

When I was looking at buying subs JL had a box with 3 12s in it, it was nice, one that faced straight back and 2 that were angled. looked nice and t would fit against the back seats.

ok i just got done cutting out the metal that hangs down in the back of the trunk and i also took some measurements and it looks like a box for my jl 15s will slide all the way to the rear of the trunk touching the back of the seat which is what i wanted and needed. my question now is how should i face my subs once the box is done being built foward facing the cockpit or backwards out the rear of the trunk im not sure what would give me the best results, and the box will be sealed, if you guys could help me out id greatly appreciate it.

one more damn question. im buying a 8 foot by 4 foot sheet of high density particle board for my subs is that gonna be enough to build my box. im looking to build the box as small as possible for the 15s, its going to be a sealed box at about 1.80 cubic feet per sub or maybe 2 cubes.
