New To This

Hello all i was,very glad to have found this site and to get some help with my intrepid basically i have a 95 intrepid that i bought knowing it needed some work and i got the motor running great but since i got the motor running the transmission decided to die on me but im looking to get this car up and running good one way or another. once i do get it up and running then ill look to be doing some mods to it but until then it sits on some jack stands.

you may consider putting a 2nd gen tranny(98-04) in your car. little modding involved. but worth it.

There is some conclusive evidence that there were design revisions on some of the internal hard parts starting in 2002... But, besides that, the newer the tranny, the less age on materials...

That will be a nice car when you're done... Always nice to see complete vehicles, but rarely do we get to see a car project from this stage on... I hope we can help you get this running!

i am hoping to get it running soon alot of the reasons that are holding me back are the tools i dont have all the tools to get it done and getting a good tranny to put in it. once i do have it running thats when i plan on doing mods and painting i want to do alot of it on my own i did get the motor running myself so i do have some mechanical smarts its just the tranny thats makes me go gerrrrr

i had to replace the water pump, timing belt, also had to redo the timing, the idler pulley the timing belt tensioner and spark plugs it took me almost a whole month to get the motor running
