My name is victoria & I am new here and don't know if Im posting in the correct spot. If not can someone please guide me where to post. My power seat (passenger seat) will move up & now & recline back but will not actually move back and is basically on the dashboard. I accidentally hit a wire but cannot figure out where. Is there a way to manually move it back so there is some leg space? I have been trying to figure it out for days so if someone can please help me Id greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
no sorry if its a power seat then no you cant manuly do it well you could but it would involve taking the seat out and a bunch of stuff best bet is to go to a wreckers and get a new seat
If you have the skills to swap the black and red wires in the harness, you can actually make the seat move backwards by operating it in the forwards position on the switch.
Simple reverse polarity of the wires will make the switch operate in reverse.
