Hello everyone, I've got a question for you all concerning a replacement fuel vapor leak detection pump.
My '02 Concorde's check engine light came on today, so I scanned it and pulled up the following code: P0441 Incorrect purge flow
Some diagnosis points to a bad leak detection pump, and I've been looking for a replacement.
Every replacement pump I've found also includes the vapor canister, and comes out to $200, which is a bit outside my budget.
I found the Dorman 310501 which is just the pump, without the canister. The part's specifications list it out as only being suitable for the Dodge Durango, but it looks exactly the same as the pump fitted to the top of my Concorde's vapor canister.
Has anyone on here managed to replace the pump itself without the whole vapor canister assembly? And do you guys think the Dorman part would be a suitable alternative?
