Of course it's a timing BELT... the timing chain reference is just my old school, slow and lethargic, cast iron V8 mental processes.
If I do that job myself I can afford new wheels and tires for my old 59 1 ton (i'm 3rd owner, bought her in '79)
I will probably put a zip-tie around the PCM at the C2 plug when I am done to ensure it won't loosen, pop off, or get coroded due to that locking pin coming out. I may even be able to put the little red clip back in (see photo). Is a little dielectric silicone grease in order at the plug interface on the PCM?
