Hey,

Today I was watching Crank & Chrome on TNN
and they where talkin about detailing, one of the things they used to get the film off WindSheilds was Bartenders Friend, its like a
milder form of Ajax... So I went to the store
tonight and bought some to try..... WOW! lightly scrubbed my windshield and all the grime and other crap vanished! I was impressed... BUT Thats not all, been an obsessed ***** I am, I tried it on my front lights, I have sevre yellow on these lights, so I scrubbeb lightly again, washed it off and viola! Loverly lenses, but then it dried
and left it all misty..
I **** myself, but then I got my car polish
out an polished them... now they are shiney
as hell!!!

NEXT! My plenum (3.3) was dirty with burnt oil stains etc, I puts some of this Bartenders Friend on for grins, scrubbed it
like a mo-fo, and it came up like the
car just came out of the Factory..

I was going to take a picture tonight but
wife`s Digital Camera has to charge on
batteries... Will tommorow though...

Just a tip for you all..

Si

Yep, it helped with my lenses on my headlights, like I said though I had to get the polish out due to the abrasive stuff this is... so I would test it on a small area first.. I gave my headlights some hard
elbow grease but they look great now.

Done wifes to.. got browny points for that, her`s is a 91 ford escort which she abuses (Dont clean it) came out great..

Si, did you use just elbo grease to polish the headlights? can you give any specifics if there are any more? I have one new headlight (original was broken when I bought the car) that's shiny but the drivers side one is dull and faded. I tried polishing it up with no success.

Elbow grease must be an English saying only :) It means rubbing hard (oooeer)

I awoke this morning with condensation over my car and I obviously didnt go a good job cleaning this **** off my Windsheild, a bit mirky... Gotta put some Glass cleaner on.. :)

Bart, It worked on my lenses, and for the money its worth a try, I really want to get behind them now, anyone know how to remove or seprate the lenses from the rest of the housing?
