I went to go start my car today, Click, then nothing.
I try again, click nothing, i leave the key in the on position. Turn and it starts fine, I shut it off, try to start click nothing. If i let it sit in the on position for a while and after the batter light goes off it will start fine. If i try before that just the start solenoid just clicks but won't turn over. what gives? And yes i checked for codes.
All the relays are fine. I checked the starter connections at school cleaned them. Problem still there. Tried it later works good as new, tried it today, same, works perfectly.
After I cleaned the connections (more specificly the power clip part) they must of still been wet.
Mine had the same problem, when I turned the key, nothing. After I tried 3-4 times it would start. Something wrong with the connectors... I had my starter replaced at 59,000 KMS to the tune of 200.00$.
Wait a second mean green I thought you never fixed anything on your car (from another thread) only oil changes and regular maintenance?
