Was wondering if anybody can tell me where the remote receiver is located?? Under the hood or under the dash. Having tried several new key fobs, have determined the receiver must be bad. Even the car dealer is not sure. Or they are giving me the run around. Any help would be appreciated.

The keyless entry module should be under the dash cover--just to the passenger side of the center speaker.
Btw, I've heard 93 models have a unique body controller. Then, there was another change in 95 that made it so you had to click twice to open the trunk.
I'm not positive the remotes are interchangeable for all years, even though they may appear to be very similar.
Oh, most importantly, are you programming the remote key fob correctly? On 97 models I think you ground pin 1 to pin 4 on the scantool connection under the steering wheel to initiate the programming sequence. It may be different for ODBI vehicles (93-95) though.
