Hey,

I put on new rotors and pads (all oem mopar) this summer and they have gotten really squeeky lately. Should i spray them with brake cleaner or what? They only squeek under my most common pressure applied to the pedal when i goto stop. if i use very light or hard pressure it doesnt do it.

Whenever I get squeeky brakes, the simple fix is to get a bottle of stop squeek (an orangish paste) that you apply to the back of the pads. I guess it works on the principle of absorbing the vibrations that we know of as squeeks. Just my 2 cents.

I've had the same problem since I replaced my pads and rotors a few months back. Same situation as you describe too: squeaky under normal braking conditions, not squeaky when you slam on the brakes or do it lightly.

I'm gonna try some aftermarket pads that promise to eliminate squeaks.
