My infinity radio broke. I wanted to put in a double DIN radio that I took out of my Xterra. I think it is a clarion (stock radio), it has 4 screws, 2 on each side. Does anyone know how to mount a stereo like this? I can always buy adapters to deal with the wiring, but how do I mount it securely? Thanks
If you have a 1st gen trep than you can't do it. We don't have double din openings. They more line a din and a 1/2. The Japanese cars are the only ones that I know of that make true double din openings
Pretty much all of Chrysler's radios since the early-mid 80's have been of the same oversized DIN size.
Pioneer is one of the few companies who makes an oversized DIN-sized h/u which will fill the entire space of the factory unit.
