I have no idea but I want to go from normal seats to power ... I'm a small guy and would like to sit up a little higher ... my '95 had em and i loved 'em.

Now I want to get them for my '97 but I have no idea if there are wires already ready or if I have to make wiring... and that, I'm not too good at ... so I am pretty much screwed if not :(

You'll have to go under the carpeting to find out if there are provision wires laying there and if not, there are how-to's you can search for on this topic. It isn't as difficult as you think to modify it yourself or you can change out the body wiring harness with one from a car that had those features.

On the 2G Treps, the power seat connector is already there under the seat, poking through the carpet, even if it never had power seats. I can't say for sure if 1G's had them too, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I suppose it would be easy enough to remove a seat to verify if the connector was there or not. You might even be able to see under the seat with a flash light for it.

My 97 had them under the seat.

I miss my LHS seats. Nothing I've owned since even gets close.

x3 on those seats... the best leathers available for your car...

my 1994 had the connector for power under the passenger floor carpet, tied to the front cross member under the front of the front seat brackets. If you don't have driver's side power, you may not have any connector on the passenger side - if you do have driver's side power, you have a 50/50 chance of having a connector on the passenger. If you don't have a connector, let me know, I may be able to get you a connector that you can splice in yourself - just piggy back off the driver's plug, or run your own fused line...

My 97 was a plain Jane model and still had the plugs under the seat.

LoL, you'll have to take the seats & center console out and raise the carpet to fully see what you may or may not have.

Probably enough change to wire in your own supply if you can't find the OEM harness...
