What would cause the ABS system to kick in at very low speeds but work (I think) normally otherwise? The previous owner of this car went to some trouble to hide this problem- pulled the ABS pump motor fuse and removed the brake warning light. With fuse in place the brakes work fine but if the pedal is pressed firmly at low speed there's a 'ratcheting' that I assume is the ABS working. Over 20mph or so pressing the same force and the brakes work normally.
maybe the speed sensors at the wheel are bad or dirty. Look near the cv joint there should be like a toothed gear and the sensor shoould be right near it try cleaning it or testing it.
If you get random faults from the code readout then the most probable cause is the ABS module.
I'd try another computer.
