my rear drivers side strut on my 93 is making a squeeking noise lately , started last week , it stops the noise after a car wash , dunno if its due to the cold weather... any ideas? (noise happens while driving , if i get out and push down on the car it makes the noise also.

Hmm....
sounds like the strut could be getting old and a little worn out.
Also, check for worn bushings at the lower control arm.
You may possibly consider spraying a little silicone lube on one item/area at a time and see if it goes away. This would at least enable you to locate where the squeak is comming from. Silicone spray won't damage the rubber bushings but it will only be a temporary fix. More of a tool to diagnose where the problem is.
Cold does have a way of bringing out the worst in vehicles!
Any marginal components usually complain alot when it's cold. Kinda like your grandma! (no offence intended)

good luck :beerchug:
