hey, winter's coming soon and cars starting to act up...

I noticed the other day then when i'm idling at a light, the interior dash lights dim slightly and the heater fan spins slower. as soon as i give it gas, the lights go back on and the fan goes to normal speed.

battery is new, terminals are completely clean, i've got an aftermarket head unit which I installed myself, but these problems happen even when its turned off.

any ideas?

thanks

Does your blower fan happen to be on high?

The blowers draw a TON of current when on high.. every car I've ever owned has done it.. if it really bugs ya.. click it back one knotch or invest in a bigger alternator.. which will have to be custom as I'm not fimilar with any off the shelf..
