I'm planning to replace the factory radio/tape player in our 1994 Intrepid ES with an aftermarket $100-$125 AM/FM/CD player. Any problems with fit? Any recomendations from those who have done this? Thanks

I have a Kenwood KDC-217 in my car and I bought it three years ago and have never had a single problem with it, so I recomend a Kenwood. As far as fit I had to tuck the wires behind the A/C controle head so it would sit flush with the mounting kit. Other than that It is quite easy. The radio is held in with only two screws. Ther may be a specal headed screws that you have to get a tool from the dealer to remove. Holp this helps, and good luck
It shoudl work fine. I bought a really nice Pioneer one. If I woudl have known what I know now, I wouldn't have payed so much and just bought an oem cd player for it.
Thanks again for the advice. I'll definetly look into that adapter.
