yet another problem on my 97 trep 3.5 :icon_mad: ! When taking the valve covers off I noticed one cam (pass side) was new looking while the other had a yellow/brownish tint and the plugs on that side seemed "froze in (I got them out ok) . I am wondering, could the push rods need to be cleaned out on that side?
correct me if I'm wrong but that is the oil delivery system right?
i've noticed that also on various 3.5, one side of the head does for some reason turn more yellow then the other, not quite sure why but i have noticed it on a few 3.5's but i don't quite have an answer for why, but i don't think there is a prob with one side looking dirty, atleat not that i have found yet

Be alert. If some parts look TOO clean. I could be a sign of a lack of oil and the contact areas (cam lobe, rocker arm) could be grinding on each other. Some discoloration in any engine is normal. Like a carmel color, its oil staining.
