So, a few weeks before Christmas, my car died in a parking lot. I got a new alternator and battery for it and put it on, and until the other day (1-3-06) it ran fine. Then that day, the same thing happened. Died in a parking lot. I took it to a different shop, closer to where it died, and they tried to fix it. After putting in another new alternator, the battery will not hold a charge. The place tried everything they could to see what was the matter, but they couldn't figure it out. So, they charged it up overnight, and I drove it home. Thankfully, I made it home, but when I went out later to go get cigarettes, the same thing. It won't start. It makes a clicking noise when I try to start it, and it sounds like it's trying to rev, and it sounds like it wants to turn over, but it just doesn't do it.
Info on the car: '95 Intrepid SE, 3.5L, 130,232 miles. Ran pretty good both before it got fixed and then after I got the first new alternator put in.
Anything you can help me with would be very much appreciated. I lost my job around the time it happened the first time, and I've not been able to find anything, and I hate to put my mother through this hardship of having to pay for my car. This is just getting really frustrating.
EDIT: Sorry for the double post.
