I went to the dealer to order the special 300m swaybars & all new mounts/hardware but their system is set up in such a way that it requires a VIN to 'pick the right part'. I think it's BS but the guy showed me the screen which was pretty freakin' sweet, showed a blow-apart view of the suspension and you click on the part you need and voila there's the part number and price. The VIN is to be used to narrow down to the specific part. Can one of you guys e-mail yours to me & post saying that you did so I don't get like fifty? I'm brandiniman <<<at>>> comcast <<<dot>>> net

Also, I, on my quest for bushings, found some Inner tie rod at PepBoys. Poly Bushings with the plate/retainer, washers, and inner bushing metal parts for $11.99. I got the last one :-) I'll post a part number later by request or shoot me an email. Auto Zone has outer tie rods for $20.99 with a lifetime warranty. I'll be picking those up today and will provide part #s by request as well, or when the club site comes back up. [and just to be thorough I'll post all the PNs for a front & rear swaybar replacement including hardware]

Specs on the car I used for the VIN:2C3AE76K52H295008 2002 300M Special. Suspension code SDE. As long as you take either a VIN from E-bay or Autotrader to a dealer for the suspension code or just tell them its a 2002 LH with the suspension code SDE they can look it up either way. The part # for the front bar is 4782858AA and the bushings 4782859AA X2 the rear bar 4782855AA and the bushings 4782857AA X2. If anyone has a VIN for a newer Special I would be happy to look up the bars to make sure they are all the same, using that code it looks like the police pkg treps and specials use the same bars.

Thanks a ton. The 11.99 Inner Tie Rod bushings are FA7279 (could be PHB1816k). Right now I'm off to the dealer to order these sway bars + bushings and then to autozone to get the outer tie rods.
