We're thinking about doing an Intrepid.
and were just offered a prototype vehicle a few days ago.

Would this be the first or second gen Intrepid? The price sounds ok, but what is included and how do you mount theese louvers?

If you can give us full details, as in the materials used, which kind of sticky pads or mounting hardware it comes with, that'd be great. We've had threads up here before where people used photoshop to put luvres on the cars and it recieved a lot of compliments. I think if you actually go forth, you'de have some nie order #'s :D

Powder Coated Semi-Gloss Black.

Does your company guarantee it's work? Or the sticky pad's effectiveness in hanging on at those high speeds we like so much? :D

I agree with Joe, weren't those the days. It does look good though. I would like to see what a 2nd gen looks like with them.

We had Team Shinoda test the Mustang rear louvers with these pads with only two top pads attached. they ran it at 90 they stayed great... no vibration even without mounting the lower pads..

I say good call, many cars would look awesome with luvres theese days. Some may not, but with tasetful additions of other mods, ... imagine a second gen or first gen trep with 17" mags and luvres.. lol. that's be some crazy shit :D

Well I think it's safe to say we have a large market potential here with the Intrepids. The reason you don't see more mods out already is because well, most of our stuff is custom. Nobody taps our market whatsoever in parts. :)

I'm parts hungry myself, and luvres would be a neat upgrade :D I'd be the only one in Ottawa, at least for a short time :D (1993-1997 model intrepid here.)



By the way, welcome to Di.net :D :D If you have some product you wish to market for Intrepids, 300m's, concordes, visions or other Lh sedans, please, feel free to tell us :D

I think those would look best on a dark colored car, the silver and white cars dont do it justice...

The look also looks far better with a wing on back. To even up the lines :D

I'll look for some dark colored cars to take some images of for more views...

Those do not belong on any car less than 15 years old.

Fabricate them for first and second generation INtrepids. Give us something to wet out mouths with :D THEN you'll see some results :D

Looks good had one on my 1985 Shelby turbo Charger. I think it would better paint to match the color of the car.

I never liked the louvers on any car. I don't like the looks of them on the LH cars either.

That being said, I can see how they would be sought after. These cars have large rear windows, which allow a lot of sunlight to hit the back seat occupants. This could be annoying and dangerous if you have young children. Are these items paintable?

Yup, he's said they're perfectly paintable. I think certain colours would look excellent, too :D

Yah those ones on that 300m are a little big, if you could make them more low profile, and less (how do I say it) deloriumish...

Will you post when they are ready? It is nice to see a company come out with something for the 300M. When ever I want someting I have to build it myself.
Speaking of Aluminum. Do you know of a place near Phoenix that would sell 9mm thick plate (about 12" by 12")? or even 3/8" thick.

All it's going to take for louvers to become the next hotest thing is Ford adding them to the new Mustangs Fastback. I like the louvers but I would definitely paint the topside to match the car. Might be easier to focus past the louvers if the underside is left black. I'm also interested in the sedan roof spoilers common on AMG's and Audi's.

it's alright on a few of mustangs. it definatley does on the 2005.

I guess They have given up on us. With smaller vanes I think it would be OK.

From the side profile the 05 and the 300M look a lot alike.
