I'm getting some custom seat covers made for my intrepid (because I have the front bench, and also because they are going to be sweet) and its going to be a lot easier to do if you can take them off david2376 07-26-2001, 09:23 PM You can...but I forget how. I took them off when i put my sheepskin covers on to see what they'd look like without. I had 5.5 LCD screens installed in both of my headrest, and they took them off while installing the screens, but like the others I don't know how.... :( Barnz 07-28-2001, 06:35 PM I was wondering what size screens fit the headrest, because I'm going to add them also.. ottowrkr 07-28-2001, 08:41 PM to remove the headrests pull up on them .You will see two plastic trim pieces around the metal shafts. if you pop them off there will be a tab under it .When pushed will allow the headrest to be removed all the way. bgz9130 07-31-2001, 03:03 PM Again Otto...a great guy to have in the forum! Thanks :p 01Intrepid 08-03-2001, 07:12 PM Well the sales man told me that I could put up to a 6.5 inch screen in my headrest. but they cost alot more, so I got (2) 5.5 inch headrest screens which was about $70.00usd cheaper.... :cool: |
