I own a 99 ES, it has the Infinity system in it. I am aware that it is powered by a 240 WATT amp. I was wondering if someone can tell me where to locate this amp, and if you can take it out and put in a more powerful one. I was looking for more ower out of it so I can put in some more powerful 6X9's.

i could be totally wrong about this, but i believe it's in/under the dash someplace...but i'm not sure.

mine was behind the right side kick panel on the Infinity system.

Is there a center speaker on the infinity system? If there is, what size it it?

In my 98 there is a center speaker.. it looks to be about a 2 or 3".. I was also looking for my amp and still can't find the damn thing. It sure isn't under my dash thats for sure :confused:

one of two places, the amp is either in the passenger kick panel or ont eh passanger side of the trunk behind the trunk lining just behind the rear wheel well.

I don't know if mine is the infinity amp or not... I have a 99 base model with 6 speaker system. I found my amp behind the right side kick panel, but removing the kick panel doesn't lead you to the amp. It's way up deep on the side of the quarter-panel wall. You should see a bundle of wires going to it.

I fi t is under that kick panel, it's a royal pain in the ass to get out. Check the link in my signature to see pictures. I had to remove the lower part of my dash (amongst many other things) to get to it.
