I got one hell of a surprise for everyone, hopefully. the only thing that would ruin it, is lack of money... (need about 600 bucks to kill).

The great Gormenee can sense an A/V system on the Horizon for you. Unless you are putting an LHS front end on your car. Thats also major money.

Well I don't think im going to do the 16hr drive. That will definitely put me over my warranty mileage and i'd like to stretch it to the summer just to make sure I don't have any AC issues that need repairs (which seems to happen every May/June).

Maybe I can arrange a trip out to the job's Chicago office for that weekend so I can meet up with you guys and yeah... ill have a rental too. :D I think the office will need a new mail server... right around meet time.

I am the senior network administrator for the firm. The mail is my responsibility. My boss was talking about giving them their own mail server. April/May might be around the time I would do it if it got approved.

If i coax my boss enough... i don't see a problem with it. You never know I guess.

Oh and when I go on the job... its all expenses paid too. :D

Well I mentioned to my boss I might want to take a trip out to Chicago around April or so.... he seemed indifferent... didnt say yes or no... so it is a possibility.

Only problem is my boss wants to go out there within the next month or two to add some miles to his plan. Supposedly he only needs 800 miles to be able to get free bumps up to 1st class which he wants for his next trip to Asia.

But we'll see..... my project has nothing to do with him so I could possibly make it out there to see you guys.

Well my copy has Publisher... and some other program i am not even familiar... along with Outlook/PPT/Excel/Access. I have a corporate licenced CD though... might be different than the retail.

And are you also sure you have Office 2003? This just came out this month.

Hmm, Okie City to Chicago - that's doable, I suppose. Even for me, a P.C.S. (Poor College Student). Plenty of room to stretch out and sleep in that back seat, parked behind a truck stop in Chicago... To attend would be sweet.

im assuming this would be some sort of weekend retreat right? i was expecting somewhere in MI and i was gonna be pissed that i couldnt come, but chicago is definately doable, its only about 5 hours, with my mom driving, from STL to there. I just got my NOS put in, my 690 shot NOS:rolleyes: ...ill be there in like 45 minutes
