hey, call me stupid, but i can't find anywhere in here about where the meet is... i really want to go, i just want to know where it is so i can plan for it!

It'll be in Elmhurst, IL

Most meet at the hotel the night before and then go to Strat's (which is right up the road) in the morning for the actual meet

hence the reason I flew to last years meet and drove a rental

well i'm not old enough to rent a car, so i can either fly and ship my car (lol, yea right) or drive it, or somehow canoodle my way to getting a rental

If i have the funds i'm putting my trep on a dolly and renting a pickup truck, you could tag along for the ride

Hey Kenundrum, i went to the last int meet.....it was awesome. My friend dave (techsupport) and I over to Elmhurst. It took us fifteen hours there and eighteen and a half hours back. I put 2630 miles on my trep in four days but it was well worth it. I don't know if I am going to be able to make it this year but I would recommend it at least once.

wow, so some people actually know what elmhurst is, my mom is originally from there, and she got a kick out of knowing that there is going to be an intrepid meet up there, is there any specifics as to where a main show will take place? im sure she would like to know

But of course, the kids get their own table and will be handed ear plugs when burnouts or foul language are about to be heard.

Damit........ I will be out of town for my job in ATL that weekend........ Well, guess i'll have to come next year unless i can get really sick and have to stay home from work that weekend.. Hummmm
