Well since it's a definite that my trep is gonna be around for a while longer, i'm definitely coming to this meet, so id like to meet up with anyone heading there. I'm coming from RI, so just toss a line in here if ya wanna ride down with me.

Hey Keith, i plan on goin down Friday morning, how bout you? BTW, you don't drive insanely do you, i hate goin too fast. I know it sounds gay, but my insurance is sky high and one more ticket equals big $$$$

I plan on going down on July 8th (thursday morning) so I'll be there for thursday night and have some sleep before we start to party. I'm the only one driving (gf has no license) and I don't plan on doing to many pit stops and my guess is that I will be passing by NYC so maybe we could plan something to make that trip better :d anyways let me know.........

I was actually considering heading down a day or two early and hittin up hershey park, not sure how far apart the park for the meet and hershey are.

my daughter sold discount tickets last year thru her school, if she get the deal again this year, i can buy as many as i need, so i will start a thread if the tickets come up.

I'd like to drive down Thursday. Leave here about 3 or 4pm. I drove down on Friday morning last year and had to leave at 5am to have enought time to meet people at noon. I don't drive that fast usually 5 MPH over the speed limit. I haven't gotten a ticket yet and don't plan on starting now. Let me know when you guys want to leave and we can work it out.

That sounds like a good plan, i may be staying on Monday to do Hershey, depends on the funds available. This way we won't be rushing down and we'll have the night to rest or do whatever.

I was thinking of leaving dedham that thursday night around 10 and driving through the night for less traffic.

I was thinkin day would be better, so we can sleep thrusday night.

theres no sleep at carlisle, tween the alarms going off, the beer and gr8crash's gas issues, you just dont get to sleep..

...That's exactly why I'll be leaving from Montreal on thursday morning so I'll be able to sleep a bit before getting up early on friday.......unless we are alot of people by thursday night then it could be another story ;)

lol good point, but i plan on just grabbin a room so me and my girlfriend can crash, and we can have a day without cars (to make it fair for her) since we'll be living and breathing cars for 3 days.

....true but then again will you be able to fight the urge to meet all of us (and the cars), especially if we are all there? lol :devil: ......but you have a good idea so that way the girlfriend (or wife) wont say that we didn't spent time with them.......unless your girl is into cars like mine then you don't even need to worry about that :biggrin:

well, i believe quite a few people will be bringing a wife/girlfriend/both with them for this trip so she wont be alone. Heck, i might bring a girl with me just because my registration allows me to bring a guest!

yes, i only work monday through friday... i'll be there the whole weekend, i haven't decided if i'm coming thursday morning or night...

Hey... I just read this thread. So some of you are considering checking out Hershey Park?

Me and my girl actually did Hershey Park last year. We left Carlisle on Sunday morning and went right to Hershey. Its really close... maybe a half hour or so. Hershey was ok... wasn't too crowded which was nice.

I might do Hershey again this year... or I might do something else since we just did Hershey. Maybe ill do Dorney Park this year. Not sure.

dorney park is the suck, do six flags over dorney.

You are right about the time, it takes between 5-6 hours and I took the pike to 84 last year.

scott, how far away from NYC or philly are you?
from NYC you can run rt 78, from philly you can run the pa turnpike out.

I just booked and paid for my hotel room at the crown plaza, i check in on thursday. I'm spending thursday at hershey park.

If you're taking I-95 or another way that passes near NYC i'll be willing to be meet up with you and a few others along the way at an exit/rest stop maybe.
