Went to the track today on one of my runs. I was up with a 86 305 V8 Firebird his Mods was chip, exhaust and cone KN. His R-T was 1.055 Mine was a shitty 1.591. His 1/4 was 16.174. I caught him at the end with 1/4 time 15.627 and won. He was bumbed big time his best time for the day was 15.943. There was all so 3 ford SVT contours there. Their best runs of the day was a 15.413 most of their runs were in the 15.8s One time there was a Buitt Mustang ahead me he ran a 15.816 His best time for the day was 15.138. Every one there even the track guys were surprised how well my R/T ran. I was hoping to get into the low 15teens, well maybe next. time.

What track do you go to? I'm relatively new to the area and would love to get out to one, to see what my car can do.

On a side note, that Bullitt owner was either taking it easy, or didn't know how to drive. With a good driver and good launch etc, those cars are mid to low 14s easy.

(Me being a Ford guy at heart and all.)
