Since the quickest ET trophies almost always will be going to a 3.5 or Turbo's 3.2, I think a special trophy for the quickest 2.7 would be a nice award next year :)

Mike's going to have to do a lot more than learn to get that 8 moving to its full potential. Will a supercharger bring you 12's, Mike? Here I am already talking shit for next year. :p

But more on topic, the base engine quickest ET award sounds like a good idea. We just plenty of them running next year. The 3.5's were a huge majority.

I was the only 2.7L running and i found out my exhaust just killed my car. I went from running 16.7 with a cold air intake, then add an exhaust and drop to a 17.2. I was so pissed i just stopped running.

think that adding all that audio equipment might have ruined it too?

We could do all sorts of things. One stopper might be the cost of trophies.

We could do one for iron 3.5s, aluminum 3.5s, 3.2s, 3.3s and 2.7s

Another problem is that there may only be ONE in some of those categories.

I think I may disqualify myself from the brackets next year. No repeat winners would be a good idea. We could do a round robin 'team' thing in the brackets with first gen against second gen.

you haD the fastest LH of the meet, but still you were the best driver thanks to the way bracket racing works.

you are in it next year... plain and simple :D

also, sponsors buy the trophies and they will do whatever I ask.

I think if anyone wants to beat Don they need to go out and practice bracket racing. As you could see from Don's brakelights, it's not about running the best time you can. :)

I'll have to compete in the fastest lt1 division at the first meet I show up to. ;) If plans go right. SS style. ;)

in case you didnt know, i do bracekt race and i know how to do it, and judging by what ppl have been posting on here for reaction times, it will be pretty easy the frist few rounds

Don't count on it! I picked up a few tips from the "Baron" this year and will be even better next year.

.200 reaction times over the .500 arent that great...thats a .700...in competition, i average about a .540-.550...i saw YBs were good, i know dons are, plus i know how my trep reacts...its got a .400 rollout...but if i go...i'll damn sure be racing, and hopefully the trep will do its part and be consistent

i never said i was better than anyone else...and i'm sorry if it came off as an attitude, but i dont like it when people tell me i dont know things that i do...once again, im sorry, but i guess the only way to do it is to come up there and prove myself...and next year...i'll do my best to be there...hopefully, i'll be racing at carlisle as well :)

All I was saying is that Don is a very good bracket racer, and that novices will need some practice to beat him. I didn't say you were one of them.

hey...if the duster is raceable you better watch out for that puppy...:) i'll have slicks :p the 340 will hopefully have its aluminum heads by then...i'll have someone drive the trep up there for me...and i'll drive (most likely trailer, no one can afford that much gas) the duster, but it would be fun to race it in other states...but im shooting for a 1.80-1.90 60 foot time with her :)

The audio may weigh about 100lb but to cost me .5 second. When i took off the car was fine but when it would shift i could feel the car slow down. I would here a loud vacumming sound between shifts like there wasn't enough back pressure for he engine. I was runing better time with my stock exhaust. I am gonna have to figure out a way put put some back pressure back into the exhaust system, probably resonator tips. Any suggestions?????

with the times you show you are running on Cardomain, you'll give alot of the 3.5s a good run.....


but, are you sure your car weights only 3200? A Stratus weighs about that....... maybe weight reduction?

3.3 with Nitrous should be running 14.50 or better.

if u find a 3.3 with a 75 shot running 14.5 or better let me know asap because theres no way i could run 14's how i am right now. i will be in the 14's for sure once i get my shift kit , torque converter and se gears in tho but for now a low to mid 15 is the best i will be able to pull off with a stock tranny. and yes i have done some weight reductions. - jeff
