would you honestly go 65.8 mph the whole way? i bet it takes more like 9 hours
and with my attention span lasting no longer than 5 hours... :p
kirrer 09-07-2004, 11:18 AM Thats why you bring da_button, pat. After about, oh, 4.5 hours of driving you pull off into a secluded area on the side of the road and get *refreshed*. Put the back seat to use. Then your attention span will return. Its too bad most treps (including yours) don't have the bench seat in front.... *nudge nudge wink wink*
CloneNo2111 09-07-2004, 01:56 PM hmm, thats only like 3 hours max for me. I think i might be able to make this one, now i will finnaly be able to meet some of the other treppers. :beerchug:
kirrer 09-07-2004, 01:57 PM Yes! Do come! For meets are full of joy and happiness. And beer!

People drove through Iowa to get to Carlisle? Interesting.....
I believe it was Loud98es who was driving through one of those states like New York and said "I had 2 hours of corn fields it was boring!" :icon_razz

Last year at Gearfest, it was mostly the local chicago people. Your main competition would be from people from Canada.

I wonder were everyone is going to park. If there are 20+ clubs coming it is going to be a tight fit. Strats is not that big.

Is there a local car wash nearby for the last minute touch ups?
Yes, there are both DIY powerwashes and professional by-hand car washes nearby. If I am going to be around, I'll gladly take you to one of them.

Nice. I know that the 3 hr. drive will need to be taken care of. I should be there by 10 a.m.

I will need to wash my car too. Last Gearfest, i drove through northern ILL all through the farmers harvesting the stuff, and dust got ALL OVER EVERYTHING.
Made my car look like crap when I got to Fuds.
