If you get pulled over too many times for window tint in IL, they can impound your car. DjPiLL 04-10-2002, 01:51 PM I guess it really depends on where you are located. Yeah my father is a retired cop... but I honestly dont think I will get pulled over for tints. Somehow I think the cops in NYC have more important shit to deal with. :D Im just not a big fan of having such a contrast between the front windows and the rears. Why not do what Intrepidatious did and get 35% on the front two, and 15% on the rear three. Because on my last Intrepid, I had 51% on the fronts (could barely even tell they were tinted), and I got pulled over a few times for it. Cops around here are pretty bad...
