Wow, what can I say? Well......here is my life story beginning in 2000. I had an '88 Dodge Aries LE 5-speed hand me down from my parents since I got my license. Eventually it developed too many problems (steering, freezing gearbox, lots others) and when the head gasket went in 2001 it was finally time for the junkyard (body and interior were still mint). I started looking at Intrepid R/T's in 2000 after I drove a Dakota R/T and saw the 2000 Intrepid R/T sitting there on the lot. One drive and I fell in love. Started getting prices and joined this website in 2001 when I finally ordered my car at a great price in July 2001. This website unfortunetely has made me spend a lot of $$$. I've been modding the car since about a month after I bought it.......mostly little things, but they're getting bigger now. I'm a bit obsessive about my car and people who know me would say I am as well. I've met a LOT of very nice people on this website and I love going to meets. The Intrepid is now my summer only car but I'm considering turning it into a "show only" car so it will last the 30+ years I plan on keeping it. Always that special bond between a person and their first brand new car.
