How about DCX works with Mazda and offers the new dual rotor wankel in the LX (from RX-8). Or even better the top secret tri-rotor (that will go into the new RX-7)

Yeah 250 hp sounds nice, but 350 sounds even better.

Would be nice...but since Ford has controlling stake in Mazda, it'll never happen.

Question is, does Mazda have the controlling patent to the rotary engine? I don't think so since GM and Ford had programs in the 60's trying to develop these small but efficient powerplants. Will Mazda have the only rotary in the future? Time will tell.
