[Car of The Month]

Let me start by saying it is an absolute honor to be voted car of the month with so many sweet rides here on the site. Many thanks to everyone who nominated and voted. Thanks to DI.Net and everyone here for the mod ideas and tips.

My name is Dan, and this is my 1998 ES. She started life as a forest green SE with a few dents and a knocking 2.7L engine. I bought it in late 2004 with intentions to convert it to a 3.2 and use it as a daily driver. I never thought I would restore and mod it to the point it is now. I started by converting it and installing a fresh rebuilt 3.2L. After that, myself and an excellent bodyman by the name of Jake did the go-mango Daytona theme paint job. We also shaved the trunk lock and added a spoiler. Since then, an ES bumper with fogs has been added, as well as autostick, an ATC heater control conversion, 18" Charger wheels, and tan leather seating from a Concorde. I have been collecting parts this winter for some major mods coming in the spring which will include a fresh rebuilt transmission with Prowler Pro gears, 3000 stall converter, and 300M special exhaust.

Its been a great car with just over 40,000 miles on it now. I plan to keep it until the wheels fall off and beyond.
