Hood vents
I want to put hood vents in and I was wondering what you guys thought. Has anyone done this besides Blackrt1? I wanted to put two vents one on each side, like the 2000 viper GTS hood (not the center vent). Where can I get vents that look like them and how hard would that be?

Well I doubt I'll be able to get the ones off a viper hood, but that is style that I want to get.

I've been thinking of putting louvers(vents) in my hood.
There used to be some custom car builders who had a machine that would stamp them into the hood.
I have been looking for a wrecked 1991 Chey Lumina Z-34. They have a louvered hood.
I think the 1993 Chevy Lumina Eurosport also has them.

ha that is the same one I was looking at! Some guy did it to his stock lumina and he made it look easy, but im afraid it may put off a GM look.

Yeah and they were barely functional.
I have always been more of a function guy. I would never buy a car with a Fake scoop.

Most vents expell air, where as scoops intake air. So it depends on what you want the purpose for it. My scoop is functional.
