    Default Oil Pressure Sensor
    I have an 01 Intrepid 3.2L.

    Does anyone know where the Oil Pressure sensor is, and what tread it is?

    Oh - it's just forward of the oil filter (there are sketches of its location in the FSM - you should download that). Sorry - not sure what the thread is. I could guess, but that's no good.

    Don't know the thread size off hand but it's right next to the oil filter. Since you have a 01 and a 3.2L I'm betting the car has a oil cooler so the sensor should be plain as day when you're looking for it.

    Looked through entire FSM, couldn't find the sketch of the oil pressure sensor and no information about thread size. Any other ideas?

    Unscrew your sensor and measure the thread?

    Buy a new sensor and measure that one?

    3/8" thread. Standard pipe fitting size. If you have the oil cooler fitting, BE CAREFUL when removing the oil pressure switch from the end of it. Follow the FSM instructions.
