Wow. First of all I would like to thank the DINET community for voting me Car of the Month.
For those who don't know my car, it is a 1993 Chrysler Intrepid (base) manufactured on November 13, 1992. So happy 17th birthday to my Intrepid!
For those who don't know me, my name is Angela and I'm a Dodgeaholic!
I guess I will start with a history. I am the car's second owner. I purchased it in November of 2000. At that time, I had specifically been looking for an Intrepid, but due to being a student I didn't have much money. Through contacts, I lucked upon this beauty, whose elderly owner had passed away and the heirs very generously sold it to me for much less than it was worth. It was in excellent condition and had only 30,000 miles on it.
I set about learning all about my car, which led to me joining DodgeIntrepid.net back in 2002. Since then I have attended many meets including the International Meets in Chigaco, Gear Fest, a couple Canadian meets, a few Carlisles, and of course the most recent Danisle. I've taken home a few trophies. And, as a consequence, my car has come a long way since then. I'd like to give a special thanks to my friend, Carlo, for his professional detailing advice in helping me keep my car looking great.
The car was my daily driver (summer and winter) for seven years, but is now retired to the status of garage queen and pleasure craft.
So thanks to everyone for your ongoing support. I am proud to call my fellow DI.net members, friends.
